This food and wine experience begins with a guided tour of our vineyards and winery. The tour culminates on our green terrace, where you will enjoy the nature of the Minho River Valley. Next, you will head to Quinta de Folga, our smokehouse located down the road from our winery. Here you will learn about our vineyards, herbal tea farms, and the time-honoured tradition of producing Fumeiro (smoked meats) in Melgaço. In the inviting tasting room at Quinta de Folga, the experience finishes with a tasting of local delicacies and four of our most symbolic wines.
Bísaro pig, a local breed, is the focus at Quinta de Folga. Here, we ecologically raise this breed, always showing respect for the environment. This gastronomic experience features a spread of traditional smoked meats: Salpicão (dry-cured smoked pork sausage), Chouriça de Sangue (smoked blood sausage), Chouriça de Carne (smoked pork sausage), and Alheira (smoked sausage made with pork and bread).
These meats are accompanied by our homemade jams and vegetables from our organic garden, matching perfectly with iconic wines from our collection.
Soalheiro (Clássico), our most emblematic wine, is the perfect expression of Alvarinho’s aromatic character.
Primeiras Vinhas, is an example of the various micro terroirs we can find within our territory, in this case linked to old vines.
Granit’s mineral profile comes from high altitude vineyards, expressing the versatility of our terroir. Finally,
Brut Alvarinho sparkling wine was the first sparkling wine made from Alvarinho following the traditional method. These four wines, with their varied profiles, represent important milestones in our history.

The Pur Terroir herbal teas, which reflect the potential of our territory thanks to an innovative process of dehydration at low temperatures, allowing to maintain a high concentration of essential oils: extremely volatile compounds, which provide the infusions with the aroma, taste and properties of each kind. The final selection is carried out carefully, ensuring that all our infusions, both loose leaf and bagged, have more than 90% leaf.
