Territories Wine Tasting Experience

It will start with a visit to the Herbal Tea Fields where you will learn more about our territory before Alvarinho, about our infusions, a tradition we are rediscovering. Then we will visit the first continuous vineyard of Alvarinho in Melgaço, where you will get to know more about our approach to viticulture, the old family garage where Soalheiro started, our cellar, where you will learn about the various winemaking processes to amplify the diversity the territory provides us with, the Sparkling Wines Cellar and the Innovation Cellar, where we push this philosophy to the limit.

We will then go up to the terrace, where, with a privileged view over River Minho’s valley, you can clearly understand what makes our territory unique, and we will then start the tasting.

We will start the tasting with Soalheiro ALLO, a wine that, as you might guess from the name, combines two of the noblest grape varieties in the Vinho Verde region – Alvarinho and Loureiro; Germinar Loureiro Vinhas Velhas, from an old Loureiro vineyard located at the foot of Monte do Faro, which separates Monção and Melgaço from the Atlantic-influenced territory where our Loureiro is born; Sauvignon Blanc & Alvarinho, which resulted in a unique Sauvignon Blanc, different from its expressions in France or New Zealand; Mineral Rosé, which shows the surprising way in which Pinot Noir has adapted to the Atlantic influence, bringing a remarkable freshness to this blend with Alvarinho; Oppaco, our first red, a combination that emphasizes the elegance of Alvarinho, the light profile of Alvarelhão and the personality of Vinhão, thus producing a delicate wine based on the native grape varieties of Monção and Melgaço.

You will also have the opportunity to taste The Pur Terroir herbal teas, which reflect the potential of our territory thanks to an innovative process of dehydration at low temperatures, allowing to maintain a high concentration of essential oils: extremely volatile compounds, which provide the infusions with the aroma, taste and properties of each kind. The final selection is carried out carefully, ensuring that all our infusions, both concerning loose leaf and bagged, have more than 90% leaf.
