The "Pintar a Manta" Project is an initiative by Soalheiro inspired by the Patchwork, a concept that reflects the mosaic of small plots that make up the landscape of Monção and Melgaço.
While the book "Manta de Retalhos | Rostos do Alvarinho" documents the winegrowers and their work, the "Pintar a Manta" project brings together art, education, and community, promoting the connection between the territory and its people.

Involvement of Soalheiro and the Community
The project involves:
- Winegrowers and artists from the region
- Schools and children from the sub-region, exploring their creativity and learning about the Alvarinho culture.
- Visitors and the local community, strengthening the bond with the territory.
By celebrating Sub-Region Day in schools, Ensolarado contributes to social education , encouraging knowledge of agricultural heritage and promoting artistic expression as a form of learning and community participation.
“Pintar a Manta” stands out for:

- To value the territory and culture of Alvarinho.

- Bringing the community closer together, uniting tradition and creativity.

- To contribute to the social and cultural education of new generations.

- To create a collective artistic record of the territory and its people.
