Ideal to accompany desserts or for casual occasions, as an aperitif or light pairings. This wine shines particularly with more intense flavours, such as foie gras or a strong and salty cheese.

Soalheiro 9% has a lemon-yellow color and an aromatic profile dominated by citrus and tropical fruits. The flavor is distinguished by an unusual balance between acidity, sweetness, and a low alcohol content of 9%.

The Alvarinho grapes used in Soalheiro 9% come from small plots located at an altitude between 100 and 200 meters, and from vineyards planted in granitic soil. These are protected by a mountain range that gives rise to a very particular microclimate in this region of Monção and Melgaço, creating the perfect conditions of rainfall, temperature and number of hours of sunshine necessary for the optimal ripening of the Alvarinho grapes.

The Alvarinho grapes were hand-harvested when fresh and not overripe because Soalheiro 9% is not a late harvest. The must, obtained by pressing the whole grapes, was decanted and fermented at a low temperature. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, but it is not completed. This gives the wine a precise balance between sweetness and acidity and a low final alcohol content.
