Patchwork Wine Tasting Experience

Taste in detail the diversity of Alvarinho in its original territory: Monção and Melgaço have unique natural conditions, a valley surrounded by mountains, where Alvarinho was born and became a culture. Fifty years on, the family’s first vineyard is today at the centre of a patchwork, a smallholding landscape marked by small plots of Alvarinho, all of which have different characteristics: in the valley, on the mountain, by the river, old vines, organic, etc. It is from this diversity of the territory, from family viticulture’s heterogeneous essence, that we depart to the various harvests we do, looking for the greatest possible precision to valorize distinct Alvarinhos, through different winemaking processes that aim to amplify the particularities of each of these profiles, mirroring the territory in wines.
