Soalheiro Revirado Alvarinho
This wine comes from small vineyards on granitic soil, at an altitude of around 400 metres, in Monção and Melgaço. The fine lees of the high-altitude Alvarinho ferment in a spin barrel and are stirred frequently, hence the name. On the nose, a closed aroma reminiscent of burnt matches, typical of an Alvarinho with some reduction. On the palate, distinctly mineral and briny, with a unique complexity imparted by its ageing in oak.
Soalheiro Revirado Loureiro
This wine comes from vineyards near the coast, under the constant influence of the sea air, on granitic soils with sand and gravel over schist. The cool sea breezes prolong ripening and preserve the acidity. It ferments in spin barrels with the lees in continuous suspension and is aged for around 12 months in oak and 6 months in stainless steel, as well as at least 6 months in the bottle. Aromas of lemon blossom, green tea and wet stone; on the palate, it is creamy and structured, with a dry, long and fresh finish.
