Enjoy this gastronomic experience as a complement to any of our tastings and tours, which you must book separately, or if you want to go straight to the table, you can pair it with a selection of our Alvarinhos.

This lunch will give you a taste of the flavours from our territory, a meal based on traditional products created by us or by small local producers, which you can enjoy as a complement to any of our tours and tastings, which you should book separately, or if you want to go straight to the table, you can pair it with a selection of our Alvarinhos.
Quinta de Folga, very close to our winery, focuses on raising Bísaro pigs. Our region has a long history of using this breed for traditional smoked meats and other dishes. Here, the pigs are reared ecologically, and we are particularly aware of the importance of protecting our environment. This gastronomic experience features a variety of products from Quinta de Folga, produced using artisanal production methods, based on traditional Melgaço recipes.
Prados de Melgaço is a small goat cheese producer focused on all stages of the production process. The animals are very well looked after, keeping them happy and ensuring the best breeding and feeding conditions. This practice makes it possible to obtain milk of exceptional quality that is then combined with unique local flavours to create refined cheeses.
The bread comes from Melgaço, the honey is from Mel do Zé, an artisan producer who lives across the road from Soalheiro, and the butter is flavoured with our aromatic herbs. At Quinta de Folga, amidst the vineyards and forest, there is also an organic vegetable garden and orchard, where the pumpkins for the handmade jam come from.
As a main course, Acém (chuck beef) is slow cooked with Soalheiro Oppaco and accompanied by potatoes and vegetables from our organic garden.
For dessert, traditional recipes with a touch of our team and fruit from our organic orchard.
These local flavours from our territory will be paired with The Pur Terroir herbal tea.
