Come discover with us the unique culture of the Alvarinho grape harvest in Monção and Melgaço, where everyone helps one another, invites friends and family, and enjoys good food and drink.
This family and community spirit is well reflected in our Winegrowers’ Club: over 200 families who dedicate their evenings and weekends to Alvarinho, earning a supplementary income.
Today, Soalheiro’s wines are crafted by many hands in small vineyard plots, tended like gardens, which from above resemble a patchwork quilt. It is from this diversity of the land and family-run viticulture that the various musts are born, which we carefully separate to later create distinct Alvarinhos using different containers and winemaking methods.
